Al-Huda Soccer 4 Health

The Al-Huda soccer team was formed as part of promoting good health and improving our health status in collaboration with the Health Promotion Board (HPB) in support of their Soccer 4 Health Programme. This programme is one of HPB's efforts to promote physical activity among men of age 30 years and above through a soccer team. Apart from enjoying the game that can provide an all-round fitness, members will also love the camaraderie of being in a soccer team.

The Al-Huda soccer team was started two years ago in 2009. Presently there are about 30 members, the youngest being 27 years, and oldest is 54 years old. Weekly training is held every Sunday 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm at the Regent Secondary School and regular friendly matches are organised with other teams. A FAS certified soccer coach provides coaching and training for the team, so if you are keen come on join our soccer team!
